Aims & Targets
Our web site contains information about the organisation and its activities as well as useful information for all cyclists in the area and further afield. bCampaign for the rights and needs of all cyclists in and around Birmingham.
bAttend monthly meetings with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council via the SCSG.
bRepresent cyclist's interests to European, national and local government, employers and transport providers.
bKeep members informed via our quarterly newsletter and web site.
bArrange for Members to receive a discount at several local bike shops.
bOrganise leisure bike rides throughout the year and events during National Bike Week.
bLink with other cycling groups across Britain through the Cycle Campaign Network.

In the past, we have:

bHelped achieve a doubling in spending on cycling in Birmingham.
bSecured a direct route for cyclists under the Bullring through the "Bus Tunnel".
bPromoted cycling to work through the Bike in Brum project.
bPartnered the City Council in organising events such as the Bike Bonanza and the Millennium Festival of Cycling.
bAdvised on routes for the Birmingham Cycling Map.
